President · Violin & Piano
Casady School · Class of 2027
Chloe Kim serves as President of Harmony Ensemble, having studied both violin and piano since age two. Her honors include the Strings Award at Casady School, first place in the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association Competition, and recognition in the Steinway & Sons Piano Competition, and she is Concertmaster of the Casady School Orchestra. As President, she coordinates the ensemble's performance schedule and outreach, keeping its day-to-day work moving.

Classen SAS High School at Northeast · Class of 2029
Cassie Solorzano is Vice President of Harmony Ensemble, playing cello and piano since age six and ten. She has served as principal cellist of the Oklahoma Youth Philharmonic and is a member of the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra. As Vice President, she helps recruit new members, coordinates guest musicians, and keeps communication moving across the ensemble.

Uma Geng
Violin & Piano
Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics (OSSM) · Class of 2028
Uma Geng has studied piano for five years under Jennifer Song, including a year with the New England Conservatory of Music, and began violin two years ago with Dr. Hong Zhu. Still new to strings, she brings that same curiosity to every Harmony Ensemble performance.

Luca Maddox-Diaz

Walnut Hill School for the Arts · Class of 2028
Luca Maddox-Diaz has played violin for ten years, since he began in New Orleans, and piano for five. A member of the Classen SAS Platinum Orchestra, he studies piano with Jennifer Song and violin with Peter Nguyen.

Zurie Jones
Viola
Classen SAS High School at Northeast · Class of 2029
Zurie Jones is a violist from Oklahoma City and a member of the Classen SAS Platinum Orchestra. She has played viola for six years with Dr. Betty Yuan and has taken part in NCHO, OKMEA, and the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra. She joined Harmony Ensemble believing music can connect people, wherever they come from.

Helen Ni

Edmond North High School · Class of 2028
Helen Ni switched from violin and piano to viola at thirteen, studying with Peter Nguyen. Selected for the 2024–25 North Central Honor Orchestra and a member of the Oklahoma Youth Philharmonic, she is one of Harmony Ensemble's newer violists.

Jayden Nguyen

Classen SAS High School at Northeast · Class of 2029
Jayden Nguyen began piano at five and violin at eight, and has since played with the North Central Honor Orchestra and Oklahoma Youth Philharmonic. He joined Harmony Ensemble to keep sharing that musicality with new audiences.

Sophia Stoops
Violin & Piano
Norman High School · Class of 2028
Sophia Stoops is a violinist and pianist from Norman, and the 2025 OKC Philharmonic Young Musicians Competition Overall Winner. She is scheduled for two solo appearances with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic during the 2025–2026 season. After eight years with the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra, she served as Concertmaster for its 2025 European tour and has appeared at Carnegie Hall with the orchestra. Sophia previously directed Harmony Ensemble's Norman branch and now continues as a member.

Jules Wyckoff
Cello
Norman High School · Class of 2027
Jules Wyckoff has played cello for six years, performing with the North Central Honor Orchestra and, last year, at the Oklahoma Music Teachers Association with her school orchestra. Having recently joined Harmony Ensemble, she is still making her first memories with the group.
Harmony Ensemble was founded in October 2022 by Eddy Kang and Lauren Kim to bring live music into hospitals and other community spaces.

Biomedical Engineering
Eddy Kang co-founded Harmony Ensemble in 2022 and helped establish its mission of using music to serve the community. A violinist and pianist from Edmond, he has served as Concertmaster of the OKMEA All-State Orchestra and Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute Orchestra and as Co-Concertmaster of the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra. Now studying Biomedical Engineering at Harvard College, he remains connected to the ensemble and to the belief that live music can bring people together and brighten difficult days.

Lauren Kim co-founded Harmony Ensemble in 2022 and has helped guide its growth through performance, service, and mentorship. A violinist and pianist since age three, she has performed at Carnegie Hall, earned recognition in the Steinway & Sons Piano Competition, Piano League International Competition, American Protégé International Piano and Strings Competition, and SWOSU competitions, and performed with the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra. She now attends the United States Military Academy at West Point and remains involved in the ensemble's direction and the mentorship of younger musicians.
